Things To Do Near Apartments in North San Antonio

  |     |   Uncategorized

Welcome to the first ever blog post from The Blair At Bitters! We created this blog to keep residents of apartments in north San Antonio engaged by sharing bi-monthly posts. Every few weeks, we’ll share tips about life in San Antonio, advice about living in an apartment, and so much more.

We’re so happy to have you as a resident or future resident at The Blair at Bitters. For our first blog, we’re taking a dive into some local area activities. If you’re looking for something indoors or outdoors we’ve got you covered.

Without further ado, it’s time to introduce you to our first blog! Oh, and when you finish reading through this week’s blog post, we encourage you to send the link to this page to your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments in 78216.

McAllister Dog Park

This first activity is dedicated to all our canine residents. Sometimes you just need a place to run free, bask in the sun, and make new friends. McAllister Dog Park is just down the street from The Blair At Bitters and is a favorite spot among our puppy pals.

The park features several obstacles and a doggie water fountain to stay hydrated. If you have a small dog this is a great spot as there are areas designated for large/mixed dogs and small dogs.

Bowlero

Bowlero will make you rethink the classic bowling alley. This retro-inspired, up-scale alley creates a new type of bowling, dining, and nightlife experience for its guests. Bowl at one of their 48 lanes or spend some time in their arcade/billiards area. Guests also can enjoy a full bar with craft cocktails and a food extensive menu.

They have several specials throughout the week so definitely check online to see what day works best for your plans. And if you get really into it, look into joining one of their several bowling leagues!

Walker Ranch Park

Five minutes from The Blair At Bitters is the Walker Ranch Park. Hunters and gatherers lived here for thousands of years making this an archaeologically-significant site. The park features a playground, BBQ pits, and a short walking trail. It also has access points to the larger Salado Creek Greenway, which connects the Walker Ranch to Phil Hardberger Park. This is the perfect place to enjoy a walk or a run and soak up the sun.

That’s a wrap on some of our favorite things to do around apartments in 78216 and first blog post. Have other activities we didn’t feature? Let us know!
